2. ICT Officer II – Application Development – 2 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicants will perform the following duties:
- Designing interactive applications based on the deployment platform, including web and mobile platforms.
- Preparing functional and non-functional technical specifications.
- Breaking down program specifications into simple elements and translating the logic into programming or scripting languages.
- Undertaking coding, testing, debugging, and installation of application programs.
- Configuring appropriate application servers based on installed application programs.
- Preparing program documentation.
- Developing installation and upgrade guidelines as well as computer systems configurations.
- Providing support to system users for effective utilization of deployed systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Receiving and managing front-desk visitors.
- Maintaining the visitors’ register book.
- Receiving and channeling incoming telephone calls and internal telephone requests.
- Operating and maintaining the switchboard.
- Directing office visitors to the relevant officers.
- Maintaining the telephone call register.
- Maintaining internal and external telephone directories.
- Ensuring that visitors have appointments and obtain authorization from the respective officer or staff member.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will perform the following duties:
- Receiving and processing applications for registration and renewal of registration certificates.
- Collecting and tabulating statistical data on registration of players.
- Analyzing applications for registration and renewals for intermediaries and other service providers in accordance with prescribed requirements.
- Studying and analyzing new insurance products to be offered in the market.
- Responding to enquiries from the public and insurance players concerning registration requirements and other insurance-related matters.
- Participating in regular inspections.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
