Data Analyst and Reporting Supervisor

Job Purpose
The Data Analyst and Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting fundraising and supporter data. The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely information to the National Fundraiser to support effective planning, performance monitoring, decision-making, and achievement of fundraising targets.
The position will also be responsible for managing Fundraising Management Information Systems (MIS).
Key Responsibilities
The Data Analyst and Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Collecting, managing, verifying, and maintaining accurate fundraising and supporter data.
- Analysing fundraising performance, contributions, pledges, campaigns, and supporter trends.
- Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising reports.
- Monitoring fundraising targets and KPIs and highlighting performance gaps, trends, and opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining fundraising dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools.
- Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to the National Fundraiser.
- Analysing the performance of fundraising campaigns, events, and different fundraising channels.
- Supporting donor/supporter retention and engagement through data analysis.
- Coordinating data collection and reporting from regional and fundraising teams.
- Supervising data entry and reporting activities while ensuring data quality and confidentiality.
- Recommending improvements to fundraising data systems, reporting processes, and tools.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Data Analyst and Reporting Supervisor position should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Database Management, ICT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, reporting, fundraising, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL will be an added advantage.
- Experience in donor/supporter database management and fundraising reporting will be an added advantage.
