- Tutorial Assistant – Linguistic – 1 Post
- Tutorial Assistant – Kiswahili – 1 Post
- Tutorial Assistant – Adult Education – 3 Posts
1. Tutorial Assistant – Counselling and Psychology – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching up to NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma).
- Assisting in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision.
- Preparing learning resources for tutorial exercises.
- Organizing and coordinating adult education activities.
- Writing course materials for adult and non-formal teaching.
- Preparing teaching manuals and case studies for distant students.
- Writing and editing literacy and post-literacy materials.
- Assisting in conducting research under close supervision.
- Carrying out consultancy and community services under close supervision.
- Performing any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree with a GPA of at least 3.5 in one of the following fields:
- Psychology
- Counselling
- Educational Psychology
- Equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution

2. Tutorial Assistant – Linguistic – 1 Post
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching up to NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma).
- Assisting in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision.
- Preparing learning resources for tutorial exercises.
- Organizing and coordinating adult education activities.
- Writing course materials for adult and non-formal teaching.
- Preparing teaching manuals and case studies for distant students.
- Writing and editing literacy and post-literacy materials.

- Organizing and coordinating adult education activities.
- Writing course materials for adult and non-formal teaching.

General Conditions for IAE Job Applications
Applicants should observe the following conditions:
- Applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not be above 45 years of age. For vacancies in paramilitary institutions, applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years, while applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years.
- Applicants should apply based on the information provided in the advertisement.
- Applicants must attach certified copies of relevant certificates, including:
- Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.
- Academic transcripts.
- Professional registration and training certificates from relevant registration or regulatory bodies, where applicable.
- Birth certificate.
- Form IV and Form VI results slips, testimonials, and partial transcripts are not accepted.
- Applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph through the Recruitment Portal.
- Public Servants are strictly not allowed to apply and should observe Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 of 30th November 2010.
- Retired Public Servants, regardless of the reason for retirement, should not apply.
- Applicants must provide three reputable referees with reliable contact details.
- Foreign academic certificates must be recognized by the relevant authorities, including TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET. Applicants applying for positions requiring a GPA must attach a GPA calculation certificate from TCU.
