1. Assistant Lecturer – Accounting and Finance

Faculty: Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies (FOCB)
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Qualifications
Applicants must hold:
- Master of Business Administration specializing in Accounting or Accounting and Finance; or
- Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Accounting; or
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance (BAF).
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 out of 5.0.
- Minimum Master’s degree GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 or equivalent.

2. Assistant Lecturer – Health Services Management

Qualifications
Applicants should hold a relevant Master’s degree such as:
- Master of Health Services Management;
- Master of Science in Public Health;
- Master of Epidemiology and Biostatistics;
- Master of Science in Health Systems Management; or
- A related programme.
Applicants should also hold a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Health Services Management;
- Health Systems Management; or
- Business-related subjects.
Minimum academic requirements are 3.5/5.0 GPA at undergraduate level and 4.0/5.0 GPA at Master’s level.

Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- PhD in Human Resource Management;
- Master of Science or Master of Business Administration specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM);
- Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM);
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 out of 5.0;
- Minimum Master’s GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 or equivalent.
Experience working in tertiary education institutions will be an added advantage.

- MSc in Computer Sciences;
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 out of 5.0; and

6. Nurse II
Number of Posts: 1
Department: University Dispensary
Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Form IV Certificate;
- Ordinary Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery or Public Health Nurse Certificate;
- Must be a registered nurse; and
- At least 3 years of working experience in a health centre or dispensary.
Main Duties
The Nurse II will be responsible for providing quality nursing and patient care, including:
- Performing general nursing care;
- Providing maternal and child health services;
- Administering prescribed medication and treatment;
- Educating patients on family planning, nutrition, vaccination, sanitation and child spacing;
- Maintaining accurate and complete healthcare records;
- Monitoring patients for medication side effects and reactions; and
- Performing other duties assigned by the reporting officer.
Salary and Employment Contract
Successful candidates will be employed under the SJUT Scheme of Service salary scales.
The positions are offered on a fixed-term contract of four (4) years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
