Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) has announced volunteering opportunities for qualified Tanzanian citizens to gain professional skills and practical work experience in various fields.
The opportunities are available in ICT, Marketing, Postal Services, Public Relations, Human Resources, Accounting, Transport, Estate Management, Engineering, Procurement, Digital Marketing, Logistics, Insurance, Banking and Digital Financial Services.
According to the announcement, the volunteering programme is intended for skills development and acquisition of work experience and will run for one year. It should not be considered as a guarantee of automatic employment in the Public Service.

1. ICT Officer II – Network Administration – 3 Posts

Qualifications:

Relevant credit appraisal, collections or loan-operations experience is required. Knowledge of affordability assessment, portfolio-at-risk and recovery processes is essential.
General Conditions
Applicants must meet the following general requirements:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Must attach an updated CV containing reliable contact details, postal address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Must attach certified copies of academic and professional certificates, academic transcripts and birth certificate.
- Must have two guarantors who are Public Servants.
- Must attach an introduction letter from the Village/Street Executive Officer or relevant Local Government Authority.
- Must be willing to volunteer in the assigned area.
- Must attach a copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).
- Must not have been convicted by any court of law for criminal or disciplinary offences and must have good conduct and acceptable moral character.
- Must not have been employed by any Public Institution since graduation.
- Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, Form IV and Form VI Results Slips will not be accepted.
- Foreign academic certificates must be recognized by the relevant authorities, including TCU, NECTA or NACTVET.
- Applicants applying for positions requiring a specific GPA must attach a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by TCU.
